Oslo Pride Launches Pride Awareness 2

Together with Attensi, Oslo Pride launches Pride Awareness 2, a new and expanded gamified training solution designed to help businesses create more inclusive workplaces.

Inclusive Workplace Training Through Gamification

The workplace is where people spend much of their everyday lives, build relationships and shape the culture around them – making it one of the most important arenas for inclusion. That’s exactly why Oslo Pride created Pride Awareness 2.

The training is made for everyone. No prior knowledge is required, and it works completely on its own – whether or not participants have played the first version. The game increases awareness of queer diversity and gives employees a stronger understanding of what it means to be a good ally. It combines interactive mini-games with avatar-based dialogues set in realistic workplace situations that organizations and leaders need to be prepared for.

Experts from the queer community were involved throughout development and quality-assured all content, ensuring it is authentic, relevant and addresses each topic with respect. Based on user feedback, Pride Awareness 2 features clearer language, improved flow, a new visual identity, and an entirely new module focusing on the experiences of transgender people.

Engagement across the entire organization

Aker Solutions is one of the organizations that completed the first version of Pride Awareness. Their experience shows what the format can do when it reaches across an entire organization.

The training is designed to

Equip employees with knowledge and confidence to act as allies in everyday situations
Increase awareness of what it means to be queer in a workplace
Help organizations build a culture where everyone belongs

Results that prove the format works

The first version of Pride Awareness has already demonstrated the real impact game-based training can have on inclusion efforts. More than 15,000 employees have completed the game. Players achieved an 80% competence gap closure and completed each module an average of nearly 2.5 times – a clear sign that the format is engaging enough to bring people back for more.

It’s this success that forms the foundation for Pride Awareness 2.

“Oslo Pride wanted more than traditional training – they wanted something that actually drives change. Through game-based learning, employees become active participants who experience, practice and act in realistic situations. The results from the first version speak for themselves: high completion rates, strong engagement, and with an enhanced experience, we’ve made the path from awareness to action even shorter.”
