Der Name stammt aus Neal Stephensons Roman &#8222;Snow Crash&#8220; von 1992, in dem Avatare und Software-Agenten in einem virtuellen Raum koexistieren. Fast 30 Jahre sp\u00e4ter wird das, was sich Stephenson wahrscheinlich als dystopische, futuristische Fantasie vorgestellt hat, nun zum Leben erweckt.<\/p>\n<p>Das Metaverse wurde beschrieben als &#8222;das Internet in 3D zum Leben erwecken&#8220; &#8211; mit der Schaffung endloser, miteinander verbundener virtueller Gemeinschaften.<\/p>\n<p>Wir m\u00f6chten jedoch wissen, welche Auswirkungen das Metaverse auf die Ausbildung am Arbeitsplatz in Unternehmen auf der ganzen Welt haben wird.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Onboarding-Training war noch nie so einfach<\/h2>\n<p>Dank der Entwicklungen in der Remote Working Technologie konnten die Unternehmen ihre Rekrutierungspools erweitern.<\/p>\n<p>Vor der Coronavirus-Pandemie w\u00e4re es ein riesiges Unterfangen gewesen, daf\u00fcr zu sorgen, dass alle Mitarbeitenden die gleiche Schulung nach den gleichen hohen Standards absolvieren. Manager werden unz\u00e4hlige Stunden damit verbracht haben, Mitarbeitende aufzusp\u00fcren, die ihre Module nicht absolviert hatten. Das Engagement war bekannterma\u00dfen schwierig. Dank der Fortschritte im Bereich der mobilen, spielerischen Simulationstrainings war es jedoch noch nie so einfach, anspruchsvolle Trainings in gro\u00dfem Umfang durchzuf\u00fchren.<\/p>\n<p>Zus\u00e4tzlich zu den praktischen Trainingsprozessen nutzen Unternehmen das Metaverse, um den Mitarbeitenden ein Gef\u00fchl f\u00fcr die Kultur an ihrem neuen Arbeitsplatz zu vermitteln. Zu diesen Unternehmen geh\u00f6rt auch Microsoft, das vor kurzem Mesh for Teams eingef\u00fchrt hat. Mit der M\u00f6glichkeit, realistische virtuelle Umgebungen und personalisierte Avatare zu schaffen, k\u00f6nnen Angestellte mit anderen aus der ganzen Welt in Kontakt treten.
